Ontario is a beautiful city in California, and it was named Ontario as the model colony was established by a Canadian named George Chaffey and two of his brothers William and Charles. The city has one of the busiest airports in the world. The city is often known as the gateway to southern California. It was incorporated as a city in the year 1891, and in the year 1906, the northern part of the city broke away and called itself Upland. The city had a lot of German and Swiss communities.
